The speaker will share the results of her long-term research. In the focus of attention is a theatre process in Belarus over the last 25 years that has not yet been rethought, systematically analyzed and summarized from the nowadays perspective.
The main themes of the lecture are: metaphorical theatre of Valery Raevsky and Boris Gerlovan; studio theatres and underground theatre of the 90s; the study of national mentality in the performances of Nikolai Pinigin and the transformation of the historical theme on the Belarusian stage.
